Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Project Engineer to join our design team at FINFROCK, a leading design-builder in Central Florida. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design and engineering of complex projects, including multifamily, parking garages, student housing, and hotels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Engineer of Record: Serve as the primary engineer responsible for various projects and/or project tasks with a construction value over $75 million.
  • Design and Engineering: Design structural framing and foundation systems, as well as Prestressed Precast Concrete components and connections.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support throughout all project stages from Conceptual Design through construction.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee and support the activities of designers and engineering interns, and provide leadership on the development of company standards and processes.
  • Project Coordination: Lead engineering coordination with internal and external clients or trades, as well as design team members.
  • Project Management: Establish and maintain schedules for assigned projects, and process RFIs and Shop Drawings.
Requirements
  • Education: A four-year degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer License: Possess a Professional Engineer license, and have the ability to get licensed in the State of Florida within 1 year.
  • Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience as a design or precast engineer, with experience in design and construction of commercial projects.
  • Skills: Excellent time management and organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
