Responsibilities:
  • Conduct quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with facility HACCP, SSOP, Quality, and GMP programs.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory laws and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement audit-ready procedures for the facility.
  • Record-keeping and laboratory management.
  • Ensure quality, food safety, and sanitation parameters of products and facilities.
  • Understand labeling, exports, and RTE and NRTE food manufacturing and sanitation processes.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5-7 years of progressive Quality Control/Quality Assurance experience in USDA food manufacturing environment.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory capacity required.
  • BS degree in Food Science, Meat Science, Microbiology, Biology, or other science required.
  • Certifications through ASQC, SQF, GFSI, and other professional quality associations preferred.
  • Fluency in English (Written and Verbal) required.
