About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to start a fulfilling career with Sam's Club. As a Food Service Associate, you'll be responsible for:

  • Preparing and serving food: You'll be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of food items, including sandwiches, salads, and snacks. You'll also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen area.
  • Providing excellent customer service: You'll be the face of our café, providing exceptional customer service to our members. You'll be responsible for answering questions, resolving issues, and making recommendations to our members.
  • Working as part of a team: You'll be working closely with our café team to ensure that we're providing the best possible experience for our members. This includes collaborating with colleagues, communicating effectively, and being flexible to meet the needs of the business.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment: You'll be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in the café, including cleaning equipment, sanitizing surfaces, and adhering to food safety standards.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:

  • Excellent customer service skills: You'll need to be able to provide exceptional customer service to our members, answering questions, resolving issues, and making recommendations.
  • Food preparation skills: You'll need to have experience preparing and serving food, including maintaining a clean and organized kitchen area.
  • Teamwork skills: You'll need to be able to work closely with our café team to ensure that we're providing the best possible experience for our members.
  • Food safety knowledge: You'll need to have knowledge of food safety standards and be able to maintain a clean and safe environment in the café.

Preferred Qualifications

We're looking for candidates with food service experience, particularly in a fast-paced environment. If you have a food handler certification, that's a plus
