Facilities Maintenance Coordinator

At Dollar General, we're committed to providing a safe and efficient work environment for our employees and customers. As a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective resolution of reactive repair and maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate daily tasks to ensure prompt resolution of maintenance issues, including but not limited to:
  • Reviewing RESPOND tickets to assess issue criticality, identify Landlord responsible items, and ensure they're routed correctly to our Lease Compliance counterparts.
  • Investigating missed vendor ETA's and aging issues to mitigate issues being escalated to Executive Management Team by Field Operations.
  • Partnering with vendors to ensure they're operating at service levels that meet or exceed current expectations.
  • Researching and identifying the root cause of consistent facilities maintenance issues and working with management team and vendor to ensure permanent repairs are made.
Requirements:
  • HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and/or general maintenance knowledge required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to balance multiple projects of varying priorities.
  • Customer-driven with a strong commitment to customer service.
  • Self-motivated team player.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

Education & Experience:

  • Technical or Associates Degree preferred or 1-3 years relevant work experience.
