We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Laboratory Technician I to become a vital part of our Agricultural Solutions division.

Key Responsibilities
As a QC Lab Technician, your duties will include:
  • Conducting quality control assessments and seed testing procedures.
  • Ensuring adherence to seed quality regulations and standards.
  • Managing data collection and reporting discrepancies to management.
  • Calibrating and operating laboratory instruments with precision.
  • Upholding a thorough understanding of standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Daily Tasks
During your shifts, you will:
  • Analyze raw and processed cotton seed samples using various laboratory techniques.
  • Oversee testing accuracy by evaluating team performance and reviewing results.
  • Document findings in laboratory information systems and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and workspace to ensure optimal safety and functionality.
  • Utilize software tools to verify data integrity and accuracy.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • A High School Diploma or an Associate's Degree (preferred).
  • 1-3 years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance.
  • Familiarity with safety and quality management protocols.
  • Experience in the agriculture or seed industry (preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
