Key Responsibilities

As a QC Laboratory Technician, you will:
  • Assist in quality control assessments and manage data related to seed testing.
  • Ensure adherence to seed quality standards and document any deviations.
  • Conduct testing, calibration, and operation of laboratory equipment with precision.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
  • Analyze raw and finished cotton seed materials using various laboratory techniques.
  • Evaluate staff testing accuracy by reviewing results and identifying data trends.
  • Maintain accurate records in laboratory information systems and communicate issues to leadership.
  • Calibrate equipment in compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) standards.
  • Keep the work area organized and ensure equipment is safe and functional.
  • Utilize computer systems for data verification and accuracy.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A High School Diploma or an Associate's Degree (preferred).
  • One to three years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance.
  • Knowledge of Safety, Stewardship, and Quality Management policies.
  • Experience in the Agriculture or Seeds industry (preferred).
  • The ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Strong attention to detail for accurate analysis and documentation.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
