As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the growth and development of our nursing staff.
About the Role:- Assist the Nurse Manager in the overall administrative direction for the clinical practice of nursing and the delivery of high-quality care to patients.
- Directly supervise nursing and technical personnel, assessing their proficiency, overseeing daily staffing and scheduling needs, and evaluating staff performance.
- Participate in hiring, promotion, salary adjustment, and termination decisions, and function as a role model demonstrating quality expertise and professional behaviors.
- Identify and develop strategies to improve the overall knowledge base and professionalism of staff, and direct, mentor, and support all levels of staff on the floor.
- Analyze administrative and operational functions, implement appropriate changes, and drive system-wide improvements.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nursing required; Master's required within 3 years.
- 5 years of appropriate clinical and leadership experience, with Progressive Care or Intensive Care experience preferred.
- BLS required; ACLS preferred.
- Current Certification required, with successful completion of the professional certification within six months of start date.
