Safety Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Trainer to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our Proactive Services team, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing training programs for our commercial lines clients.
Key Responsibilities- Organize and execute training sessions for clients based on OSHA/DOT requirements and business needs.
- Participate in the development and implementation of safety programs, including lockout/tagout, confined space entry, fire protection, and other OSHA safety compliance programs.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of claims tracking and reporting systems.
- Perform safety and hazard analysis to identify needs, assess, and manage risk.
- Complete annual compliance and business platform audits.
- Export and analyze platform utilization reports to improve utilization.
- Review telematics reports and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Develop discipline and incentive programs to address jobsite and vehicle safety concerns.
- Document, track, and quantify work completed on Bignition platform.
- Ability to plan, organize, implement, monitor, and adjust in an independent work environment.
- Ability to travel for client meetings and training.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical clients, coworkers, and diverse populations.
- Ability to gather data, compile, and analyze information, and prepare reports.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Possess or obtain certification to train in OSHA & DOT within 90 days of hire.
- Trained in The Wedge sales process within 90 days of hire.
- Attend the Wedge Sales Training within 6 months of hire.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in the company's management software (EPIC).
- Minimum of 5 years in account management, training, and/or commercial insurance.
- Knowledge of Federal, State, and local safety regulations, protocols, and/or procedures.
- Experience with Bignition software a plus.

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $75,000 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including a 401k plan with immediate participation, company match, and immediate 100% vesting, company-paid benefits, and a strong health insurance plan.
