Job Summary:

ExamOne, a Quest Diagnostics company, is seeking a self-motivated and reliable Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to choose your own schedule and work at your own pace.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect blood and urine samples from insurance clients and specialty draws, and label all specimens accurately.
  • Obtain manual physical measurements and document health histories.
  • Ship all specimens via FedEx from your residence or authorized FedEx stores.
  • Call clients to schedule and confirm their insurance exams and specialty blood draws on a daily basis.
  • Have a printer/scanner to print off paperwork and upload all paperwork, as well as an internet computer to put all status notes and scheduled appointments into our portal.

Requirements:

  • Must pass a urine drug screen and background check.
  • Proven experience as a phlebotomist/medical assistant.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance, able to travel within a 20-mile radius of your home, with reimbursement for mileage over 35 miles at 65 cents per mile.

  • Training provided, with equipment such as a BP cuff, scale, tape measure, clipboard, and centrifuge provided if needed.
