Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Process Improvement Specialist with a robust background in the energy supply chain. This role is essential for spearheading initiatives aimed at enhancing operational processes within Supply Chain and Field Operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset and exceptional communication skills, with a proven track record in utilizing both Microsoft Dynamics ERP and Oracle ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Management:

  • Design and execute comprehensive project plans, establishing clear timelines and milestones.
  • Evaluate and document current Supply Chain and Field Operations processes, creating detailed process diagrams for future improvements.
  • Collaborate with process owners and stakeholder teams to define, document, measure, analyze, and enhance business processes.
  • Generate process documentation to support operational needs effectively.
  • Oversee the delivery of system requirements to ensure alignment with developed operational processes.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and operations, to ensure cohesive project execution.
  • Understand regulatory compliance and risk management within the energy sector.
  • Adapt to evolving project requirements while maintaining a focus on delivering value and achieving objectives.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as the primary liaison for process-oriented stakeholders, providing updates and addressing inquiries.
  • Facilitate collaboration among internal and external teams to meet project goals and requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and formulate mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications:

Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in process improvement, preferably in the energy sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle ERP, particularly in supply chain management and field operations.
  • Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance practices applicable to the energy industry.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical team members.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related discipline; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

Location and Work Setup:

  • This position is based in Houston, Texas, and follows a hybrid work model requiring occasional office presence.
  • Candidates must possess valid US work authorization and reside within a commutable distance.
