Job Title: Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Interventional Radiology team in Boston, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide competent, compassionate nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
  • Administer medications, including moderate sedation, as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, including hemodynamic monitoring during procedures.
  • Collaborate with the interventional radiology team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest procedures and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Current Massachusetts licensure as a registered nurse.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in critical care, ICU, or procedural experience.
  • Strong clinical background in pulmonology preferred.
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, high-acuity patient care environment, with exposure to some radiation during fluoroscopy procedures. The role requires strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
