Join Our Team as an Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are seeking skilled Interventional Radiology Technologists for exciting travel opportunities. This role offers the chance to enhance your career while enjoying substantial time off.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will:
  • Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians during minimally invasive, image-guided procedures.
  • Prepare and monitor patients throughout the procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and clearly explain procedures to patients.
  • Scrub in for all diagnostic and interventional procedures, maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of radiation protection standards to ensure safety for both patients and staff.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and utilize the McKesson PACS system effectively.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
  • A minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and AART National certifications.
  • A Certificate in Vascular-Interventional Radiology (VI) or Cardiac-interventional Radiology (CI), along with any necessary state-specific licensing.

Physical Requirements:
Candidates should be able to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as bend and stoop as needed. A solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology is essential for success in this role.
