Concrete Laborer Job Description

Bonness Inc., a reputable civil site development company, is seeking a skilled Concrete Laborer to join our team. As a Concrete Laborer, you will be responsible for performing various tasks involving physical labor on roads, highways, residential, and commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of tasks involving intense manual labor, including loading and unloading trucks, hauling and hoisting materials, and placing forms for molding concrete.
  • Mix sand, cement, and water in specified proportions to make cement grout or slurry, and fill holes and cracks with grout or slurry, using a trowel.
  • Clean chipped areas using a wire brush and wet concrete surfaces, rubbing them with stone to obtain a specified finish.
  • Material handling and storage, as well as maintaining a clean job site, picking up all tools and equipment, and securing the job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.
  • Assist other craft workers, such as concrete finishers and foremen, and follow safety procedures to ensure a safe and efficient workplace.
