Job Title: Surgical Coordinator

Orlin & Cohen Medical Specialist Group is seeking a highly skilled and organized Surgical Coordinator to join our team. As a Surgical Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating surgical procedures, managing patient flow, and ensuring seamless communication between healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate surgical procedures, including scheduling, preparation, and follow-up
  • Manage patient flow, ensuring timely and efficient processing of patients
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient information and surgical schedules
  • Collaborate with other departments, including admissions, billing, and patient services
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in surgical coordination or a related field
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and surgical procedures
