Job Title: Device Repair Technician

At Batteries Plus, we are seeking a skilled Device Repair Technician to join our team. As a Device Repair Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and repair services for a variety of electronic devices, including cell phones, tablets, and other devices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintain electronic devices, including cell phones, tablets, and other devices
  • Replace screens, batteries, and other components on smartphones and tablets
  • Rebuild cordless drill batteries and other battery packs as needed
  • Replace cords, sockets, and other parts on lamps and light fixtures
  • Assist with cycle count and inventory management
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers
  • Meet sales and productivity targets
Requirements:
  • High school education or equivalent required
  • Relevant experience in electronics repair or a related field preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and customer service skills
Working Conditions:

The physical demands of this position require the ability to regularly use hands to handle or touch electronic products, stand, walk, sit, frequently talk and hear; occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach above shoulders. Lifting 10-20# on a regular and frequent basis, 50# on an occasional basis, and more than 50# on an infrequent basis.

The position also requires the employee to regularly use electrical cables, simple hand tools, a magnifying glass, spot welders, automotive and electronic testing equipment, key cutting and programming equipment, and a company automobile.

Protective clothing and/or equipment used in this position includes safety glasses, goggles, gloves, and steel-toed shoes.
