About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Commissioning Engineer Senior II to join our team at CAI. As a key member of our commissioning team, you will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of all electrical aspects of commissioning projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of electrical test schedules and procedures
  • Review project submittals for consistency with design intent and owner's project requirements
  • Maintain project cadence for electrical systems testing and associated Building Automation Systems
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors to complete electrical systems testing
  • Develop reports for electrical commissioning engineers and contribute to daily reports for the Commissioning Project Manager
  • Attend and participate in customer equipment Factory Witness Tests
  • Perform equipment inspection to ensure build adherence to vendor submittal
  • Provide test documentation to ensure equipment is delivered, installed, and tested correctly
  • Support design specification review, manufacturer submittals, and project schedule documentation
  • Ensure safe work practices are followed by all on the commissioning team and customer site
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of five to seven years Data Center Commissioning experience
  • Knowledge of OSHA and NFPA 70E safety requirements
  • Good written and spoken communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and specifications
  • Knowledge of data center design concepts and commissioning experience with Electrical Distribution Switchgear, Substations, Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS), Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), Batteries, Emergency Diesel Generators & Load Banks
  • Knowledge of power quality analysis and strong experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
