Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain accurate and detailed work order packets for incoming jobs.
  • Ensure that all inspection documentation is completed and filed in a timely manner.
  • Assist inspectors in data collection and entry for incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspections/verifications.
  • Collect and compile data packages for each job, including pictures and shop technician checklists.
  • Load and unload trucks as necessary, utilizing forklifts and overhead cranes.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing shipments of goods, materials, and equipment.
  • Verify that all goods received are properly labeled with work order numbers.
  • Receive goods into our B2B system.
  • Organize and facilitate third-party subcontract work.
  • Build shipping crates and containers as needed.
  • Confirm that all inspection forms and QC signoffs are complete prior to outgoing shipments.
  • Complete shipment checklists.
  • Ensure that all paperwork, including BOLs and pack slips, is accurate and complete.
  • Arrange for the shipment of outgoing jobs to customers.
  • Compose final reports in a timely manner, utilizing all collected data.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience.
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel in a Windows environment.
  • Good typing skills with the ability to self-check for spelling and numerical errors.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and good organizational skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well alone or with others.
  • 1 year of experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist in a production environment.
  • Ability to work in a demanding and fast-paced production environment.
