Medical Care Specialist

American Family Care is seeking experienced Physician Assistants (PAs) and Nurse Practitioners (NPs) to join our dynamic team at our state-of-the-art urgent care facility in Cullman, AL.
Salary & BenefitsWe offer a competitive base hourly pay with performance bonuses, ranging from $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a retirement plan with 401(k) company match.
Job Responsibilities- Assess and treat patients with common acute conditions, illnesses, or minor trauma in collaboration with a physician.
- Manage chronic illness care in partnership with physicians.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of healthcare issues.
- Educate patients and families on preventive care, treatment plans, and medication use.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
- Licensure: Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANP) or Physician Assistant (PANCE).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in primary or urgent care.
- Skills: Proficient in using EMR systems, flexible with weekends and holidays, excellent communication skills, and a positive, patient-first attitude.
