Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Physician to join our team at East Indiana Comprehensive Treatment Center, a leading provider of outpatient treatment for adults struggling with opioid use disorder. As a Physician in our Addiction Medicine program, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough medical evaluations, including physical exams and medical histories, to inform treatment plans and make diagnoses.
- Prescribe medications and treatments, as well as manage behavioral or mental health problems, in accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, adhering to corporate policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Current license to practice medicine in the state where the facility operates.
- Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions.
- No history of alcohol or drug misuse for a period of three years before employment.
