Job Overview

Position Title: Substitute Warehouse & Distribution Specialist

Role Summary: The individual in this role will be responsible for receiving, storing, and managing supplies, materials, and equipment. This includes processing incoming goods and ensuring the organization and upkeep of warehouse inventory.

Employment Type: Available for both Full-Time and Part-Time roles
Compensation: $22.41 per hour (Entry-level on the CSEA board approved salary schedule)
Work Environment: Purchasing/Warehouse

Note: Substitutes function as 'on-call' personnel, responding to daily needs. Please be aware that assignments may vary and are not guaranteed.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess High School level literacy and numeracy skills, or equivalent qualifications, to effectively perform all essential duties and comprehend safety protocols and related documentation. A minimum of 2 years of experience in general warehouse operations and delivery is required.

Required Certifications:
Must hold a valid Class C Driver's License and be able to secure a forklift certification within the first 60 days of employment.
Successful completion of the Employee Entrance Evaluation (Strength Testing) is mandatory.

Necessary Documentation:
Applicants must provide the following documents:

  • Copy of Driver's License (Valid California Driver's License)
  • Proof of Automobile Insurance (insurance card or declaration page with applicant's name)
  • Evidence of High School Graduation (High School Diploma, Transcripts, or Equivalent such as GED)
