Smithfield Foods is seeking a skilled Warehouse Inventory Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our distribution center, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of inventory levels through daily, weekly, and quarterly cycle counts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compile and maintain accurate inventory lists
  • Perform physical inventories, cycle counts, and reconciliations
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Utilize warehouse management systems and other software to perform inventory transactions
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ year of experience in a distribution center environment preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and warehouse management systems
  • Ability to accurately count and convert product quantities
Work Environment

The distribution center environment can be physically demanding, with exposure to extreme temperatures, moving equipment, and chemicals. Regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
