Sales Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager and marketing teams to devise and execute strategies aimed at boosting Masonite's market presence within your designated area.
  • Strengthen relationships with retail partners to maximize sales opportunities with key contractors servicing the remodeling sector, employing creativity and independent judgment to secure new business.
  • Assess point-of-sale data by region and outlet to identify opportunities for product mix optimization that will enhance both unit and revenue growth.
  • Spearhead in-store initiatives to promote sales across all product lines, including special promotions and new product introductions.
  • Partner with the Pro Account Leader to identify and secure significant deals with contractors and remodelers, using innovative approaches to drive sales.
  • Organize and execute promotional events and partnerships that foster growth in store share.
  • Provide quotes and finalize large-scale projects with remodelers and contractors, driving additional sales at the retail level.
  • Enhance sales within the Millwork Department and Installed Sales through effective presentations and strategic sales efforts.
  • Actively seek out and convert professional remodelers to utilize the retail channel, thereby increasing foot traffic and sales volume.
  • Deliver impactful sales presentations to key retail personnel to increase Masonite's market share in special orders.
  • Drive profitability through strategic product mix enhancements and upselling techniques.
  • Responsible for recommending products to stores and directly to consumers to elevate sales performance.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Cultivate strong in-store relationships to enhance sales and promote channel activity.
  • Monitor and resolve customer service issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Plan and execute events that drive store share growth and customer engagement.
  • Develop and implement a strategic approach for your area.
  • Provide valuable insights on product trends and competitive landscape to sales leadership.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree is required, ideally in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Experience ranging from six months to two years in account management or retail sales is preferred.
  • Previous experience in the building materials sector is advantageous.
