Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Work with the sales representative and Sales VP to create a strategy for the demo and presentation.
  • Collaborate with R&D and the corresponding product's Business Analyst to determine the best functionality to meet the client's needs.
  • Responsible for working with R&D to update each demo environment to ensure that the data is complete and that the most recent functionality is included in the database.
  • Attend all internal meetings that review product triage, sprint releases, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Share any new product or functionality information with the sales & marketing team and incorporate these items into their demo environment and scripts.
  • Assist Sales in the RFP process by reviewing functionality questions, providing answers to the questions, and working directly with R&D and other internal staff to determine the answers to any items that need assistance.
  • Help the sales and marketing team with creating short video content for marketing and sales-related items, as well as assist the team when updates are needed for product literature. The ESE will assist with sales webinars when needed.
  • Serves to make sales successful, is directly incented by sales' success, and takes tremendous pride in driving the team's success that yields tangible results in sales ultimately closing.
  • The ESE is focused on solving the customer's higher-level business problems and clearly understands that HSS' success is found in our overall solution and platform advantages, not just within our rich functionality.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree/post-high school education strongly preferred.
  • Experience working in K-12 or public sector market.
  • Minimum of 3 years of software sales, support, or professional experience in a related industry.
  • Experience in presenting and demonstrating software to users of all levels.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to set and hold to critical deadlines and ensure necessary parties meet their commitments.
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 30% of the work week on average; valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required.
  • Comfortable presenting software in front of executives, supervisors, and end users.
  • Superior oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially effective listening, and customer orientation mastery.
  • Adaptable and responsive to innovation and change, identifying areas for improvement to support business success.
  • Ability to set up the database and demonstrate software functionality to users of all levels.
  • Demonstrates personal accountability, excellence, and integrity.
  • Results-driven professional with the ability to work well and deliver under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organized, detail and task-oriented; excellent follow-up skills.
  • Creative problem solver, able to quickly resolve issues and negotiate any challenges that occur with customers.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, MS Teams, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM and screen recording software is a plus.
