We are currently seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee our financial operations. This facility, recognized for its commitment to quality care, operates as a Level III Trauma Center and is co-owned with physician investors. With a workforce of over 600 employees and a medical staff comprising 190 physicians, we pride ourselves on our diverse service lines, including Cancer, Cardiology, and Emergency Medicine.
The CFO will play a pivotal role in enhancing the financial health of the organization. Key responsibilities include:
- **Optimizing Financial Performance:** Evaluate the profitability of hospital operations and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- **Financial Reporting Oversight:** Supervise the preparation of comprehensive financial reports that reflect the hospital's financial status and operational performance.
- **Regulatory Compliance:** Ensure timely preparation and submission of all required financial reports to federal, state, and other regulatory bodies.

Candidate Requirements
To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:
- A solid understanding of GAAP, Medicare and Medicaid regulations, as well as federal and local tax laws.
- Extensive knowledge of healthcare business operations, from patient registration to billing resolution.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, including the ability to prepare accurate financial statements and reports.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of progressive financial experience in a healthcare setting. A Master's degree is preferred, along with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
