Objective:

Role Overview:
  • Assist in the deployment, troubleshooting, and upkeep of IT systems.
  • Oversee IT system infrastructure.
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support.
  • Configure and manage both UNIX and Windows operating systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and configure Windows servers.
  • Implement patches and system upgrades.
  • Diagnose and resolve server-related issues.
  • Deploy and manage monitoring tools and applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in Windows or Linux system administration.
  • Familiarity with both physical and virtual server environments.
  • Understanding of log aggregation tools.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Elasticsearch/Splunk.
  • Knowledge of Syslog/NxLog.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience as a System Administrator in similar programs.
  • Alternatively, 5 years of additional System Administrator experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
