Position Overview:

The ILI Superintendent II is tasked with the planning and management of inspection operations. The successful candidate will exhibit strong leadership capabilities and effective communication skills, enabling them to take charge of projects and deliver results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize safety in all operational tasks and processes.
  • Assess and analyze pipeline questionnaires, construction schematics, and as-built documents for upcoming projects, implementing necessary modifications to minimize risks and ensure a secure and effective operation.
  • Oversee the assembly and final preparation of the ILI machinery before deployment to the work site.
  • Conduct quality assurance and quality control evaluations on ILI tool assembly and testing.
  • Lead the project management process, including pre-job planning and maintaining communication with clients throughout the ILI operation, addressing logistical needs.
  • Act as the on-site representative for Entegra, engaging with clients regarding job execution, safety measures, scheduling, operations, and tool performance.
  • Formulate, document, and communicate a job site safety analysis plan for each project, conducting safety briefings.
  • Complete all necessary job closure documentation and reporting.
  • Authorize time sheets and expense claims for the ILI team.
  • Educate ILI crew members on all facets of ILI operations.
  • Identify and propose opportunities for continuous improvement and cost efficiency.
  • Execute additional assigned tasks as required.
  • Commit to Operational Excellence by actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives, consistently striving for the achievement of both individual and team objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of ILI experience.
  • ASNT ILI-PQ Tool Operator Level I certification or higher.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and industry safety standards.
  • Understanding of magnetic flux leakage principles and applications.
  • Knowledge of pipeline liquid and gas hydraulics.
  • Proficient understanding of pipeline operations.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as needed.
  • Must pass DOT Drug and Alcohol Test.
  • Background check required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Possession of a passport or ability to obtain one.
  • Possess or be able to acquire a TWIC card.
  • Willingness to travel 80% within the U.S., with potential international travel.
  • Fieldwork may involve extended hours, including early starts and late finishes.
  • Capability to routinely lift and carry 50 lbs throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift 100 lbs to waist height multiple times during the workday.
  • Work environment may include extreme conditions: heat, cold, wet, etc.
Education:
  • Minimum: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Associate's degree or Technical Electronic Degree.
