Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to join our team at Matheny Medical and Educational Center. As a Paraprofessional, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and therapeutic needs of our students with medically complex developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure learning environment for our students
• Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and providing instructional support
• Act as an instructional resource and support for students and teachers
• Perform various duties as directed by the IEP and assigned teacher, school nurse, principal, or designee
• Assist with ADLs, such as toileting, feeding, and swimming, to support the overall program objectives of each student
• Collaborate with teachers to develop objectives and goals for students
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide information to teachers to inform program planning

Requirements

• 60 college credits required
• Must follow Department of Health Covid Vaccination guidelines
