Windows Compliance Remediation Specialist

The Windows Compliance Remediation Engineer will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing system security reports to identify potential compliance violations on Windows operating systems.
They will then work to develop and implement remediation plans to address these findings, ensuring systems meet the organization's security benchmarks and regulatory requirements.
This role requires a strong understanding of Windows administration along with a working knowledge of common compliance frameworks.
The engineer will need excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues and identify the root cause of compliance failures.
They must also possess excellent communication skills to document remediation procedures and collaborate with system administrators to ensure successful implementation.
Requirements- 5+ years of Active Directory and Windows administration/troubleshooting/security
- 5+ years working in security implementations for Windows
- Good understanding of PowerShell and Linux shell scripting e.g. python
- Having worked in the banking/financial sector
- Industry certifications
This role will be supporting specific projects that cover a wide range of regulatory findings, mostly around compliance to security standards.
Work ArrangementsThis is a fully remote position with a standard 9am - 5pm Eastern Time schedule.
Contract DurationThe initial contract duration is 6 months with the possibility of extension.
