Key Responsibilities
  • Oversees and collaborates with carpentry teams on assigned tasks.
  • Aids in the organization of work schedules, assessing workforce requirements, material specifications, equipment needs, and training for crew members.
  • Demonstrates the ability to execute essential and routine job functions effectively.
  • Plans, organizes, and assigns tasks to the crew.
  • Communicates with crane operators.
  • Manages the placement of concrete.
  • Handles situations involving vibration.
  • Conducts inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • May work in adverse weather conditions, facing extreme temperatures, noise, and dust depending on the job site.
Essential Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience or training, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials weighing up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 90 pounds with assistance.
  • Frequent activities include walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing.
  • Regular use of hand tools, including power tools, saws, hammers, and fasteners.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preference for candidates with at least three years of experience in formwork or concrete construction with proven performance.
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are advantageous.
