- Oversees and collaborates with carpentry teams on assigned tasks.
- Aids in the organization of work schedules, assessing workforce requirements, material specifications, equipment needs, and training for crew members.
- Demonstrates the ability to execute essential and routine job functions effectively.
- Plans, organizes, and assigns tasks to the crew.
- Communicates with crane operators.
- Manages the placement of concrete.
- Handles situations involving vibration.
- Conducts inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- May work in adverse weather conditions, facing extreme temperatures, noise, and dust depending on the job site.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience or training, or a combination of education and experience.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials weighing up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 90 pounds with assistance.
- Frequent activities include walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing.
- Regular use of hand tools, including power tools, saws, hammers, and fasteners.
- Preference for candidates with at least three years of experience in formwork or concrete construction with proven performance.
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are advantageous.
