Carpentry Supervisor

Ceco Concrete Construction is a leading provider of concrete subcontracting services. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality results on a wide range of commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee work activities and collaborate with Carpenters as assigned.
  • Assist in planning work schedules, determining workforce needs, material quality, construction equipment requirements, and crew training needs.
  • Perform primary and routine job duties of the position.
  • Plan, coordinate, and delegate work to crew.
  • Signal cranes.
  • Direct concrete placement.
  • Handle vibrating situations.
  • Inspect and ensure work is performed in conformance with specifications.
  • Work in various weather conditions, potentially exposed to extreme temperatures, noise, and dust from construction operations.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Two years of related work experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to exert heavy physical effort and frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds of material and up to 90 pounds of material with assistance, if requested.
  • Frequently walk, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb.
  • Frequent use of hand tools such as power tools, circular saws, hammers, nails, and bolts.

Preferred Experience
  • Preference given to candidates with a minimum of three years of formwork/concrete construction experience supporting similar responsibilities at meets or exceeds performance expectations.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
