Job Title: Videographer

We are seeking a skilled Videographer to join our team at Monumental Sports & Entertainment (MSE). As a Videographer, you will be responsible for filming, editing, and producing high-quality video content for the WNBA Washington Mystics and NBA G League Capital City Go-Go.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Director, Digital Content to develop and drive video projects.
  • Film and edit original short and long-form videos featuring stories about our teams and players, as well as corporate and community partners.
  • Film at events, games, practices, and in the community.
  • Assemble edits quickly and implement notes from creatives and clients.
  • Adhere to franchise brand standards, critical initiatives, and established voice across video projects.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve video goals while advancing business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to promote the teams on digital platforms.
  • Optimize content for performance on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Social Ads, and Website.
  • Manage multiple projects with shifting timelines.
  • Apply data and analytics to inform programming and content decisions.
  • Process, organize, and maintain video file organization within our systems.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in video production/video editing.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, focusing on Premiere, After Effects.
  • Experience creating and implementing motion graphics, color grading, and sound mixing.
  • Social media optimization experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple projects.
  • Flexibility to work events, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to travel with the team as needed.
  • Familiarity with video metrics across social media platforms.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and content optimization.
  • Experience directing on-camera talent.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Production experience working with high-definition cameras.
