Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at Forefront Dermatology. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including verifying insurance and updating patient information
  • Handle multi-line phone system and respond to patient inquiries
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and files
  • Collect co-pays and cash payments from patients
  • Perform opening and closing clinic duties, including tidying the waiting area and reception counter
  • Schedule follow-up appointments and respond to designated tasks in the electronic health record
  • Order office supplies and distribute mail

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of recent medical office experience preferred
  • Proficient in basic computer functions and ability to learn new software quickly
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well in a team environment
