Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at B&G Foods. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment in accordance with blueprints, schematic drawings, operations manuals, and manufacturer's specifications.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment specific to the operations
* Diagnose malfunctions in production machinery and equipment
* Service, repair, and replace defective parts
* Lubricate machinery and perform other routine maintenance on production machinery
**Requirements:**
* High school diploma or GED
* Prior industrial maintenance experience helpful
* Must obtain forklift certification within 60 days after starting job
**Working Conditions:**
* This position is in a manufacturing plant environment
* Works around moving mechanical parts
* Exposed to airborne particles
* Works with toxic chemicals
* Works around motorized vehicles
**Physical Requirements:**
* Must be able to lift up to 80lbs
* May be required to work at heights up to 30ft off the ground
