Competitive SalaryOur Service Technicians can expect a competitive salary, ranging from $16 to $20 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job DescriptionAs a Service Technician, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers. This includes:

  • Creating a welcoming experience for each customer by greeting them warmly and addressing their needs.
  • Working efficiently to meet our high standards for service quality and speed.
  • Tailoring each guest experience based on their preferences and needs.
  • Being knowledgeable about our services and explaining options clearly to customers.
  • Promoting teamwork and a professional environment for colleagues, vendors, and customers.
  • Communicating effectively with customers and colleagues through speech and writing.
  • Being willing to cross-train and work in other areas as needed.
  • Maintaining the facilities by assisting with clean-up tasks and ensuring the area is tidy.
  • Dressing professionally, according to our policy and standards.
  • Maintaining organization of tools and devices throughout the facility.
  • Assisting with exterior maintenance of the facility to promote guest and team safety.
  • Becoming knowledgeable about our technology and being able to execute tasks using it.
  • Able to operate the point-of-sale system when needed.
  • Working a varied schedule based on customer demand and store hours.
  • Working quickly, efficiently, and safely to deliver quality service to our customers.
  • Following all safety procedures as described in the handbook and safety manuals.
  • Proven ability to complete tasks independently and with little supervision.
  • Reporting to all shifts on time when scheduled.
  • Following procedures accurately and with attention to detail, and understanding how to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Displaying proficiency in sales and service reviews.
  • Training requirements include all Team Member proficiencies, as well as understanding mechanical aspects of warranties.
  • Serving as a trainer for new team members.
  • Proven ability to problem-solve and critically think through issues that may arise during the service of a customer vehicle.
  • Being cross-trained and willing to work in all store positions.
  • Being able to handle and de-escalate customer complaints and warranties.
  • Other duties as assigned.

RequirementsPreferred experience includes at least 6-12 months in an automotive technician or lube technician role for the Senior Technician position or 2-6 months for the Technician position. Familiarity with technology and word processing is also a plus. A high school diploma is preferred, and you must be at least 18 years old.
