Key Responsibilities of the Food Service Associate:

  • Prepares dining areas, kitchen, or salad stations by arranging facilities, equipment, and utensils according to specific operational needs; verifies food temperatures and readies areas for daily service; may operate cooking or baking equipment as assigned.
  • Assists in the preparation of both hot and cold meals and beverages.
  • Serves food items to patrons from counters or steam tables, following specific guidelines to ensure proper portion sizes; replenishes food items, utensils, glassware, and trays at serving stations as necessary.
  • Maintains cleanliness of work areas, including floors, facilities, dishes, utensils, and equipment; collects and disposes of waste in designated containers as appropriate.
  • Cleans pots, pans, and other serviceware, ensuring sanitary practices; organizes and returns serviceware to their designated locations.
  • Performs various job-related tasks as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Basic reading and arithmetic skills.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and understand the primary language(s) used by guests frequenting the service area.
