Job Overview
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team as Nurse Care Managers. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct and indirect nursing care to residents, ensuring their needs are met according to established facility standards and policies.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a supervisor for personnel on your unit, ensuring resident care meets high standards.
- Provide total care for all residents on your unit, overseeing direct care staff to guarantee resident needs are fulfilled.
- Review daily assignments of nursing staff to ensure duties align with abilities and training.
- Collaborate with other departments, including dietary, social services, activities, physical therapy, to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Initiate and update nursing care plans for residents on your unit.
Requirements
- Hold a current license from the State of Indiana in good standing.
- Possess a health certificate/examination as required by state agencies.
- Have at least one year's experience in Long Term Care or a related field.
- Demonstrate good emotional health and ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy objects.
- Exhibit a professional attitude, including confidentiality, concern for others, cooperativeness, and responsible time management.
