About the Job
Frost Bake Shop, a local and family-owned business, is seeking a skilled Sales Associate to deliver exceptional guest service in a retail location. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding guest service by modeling exemplary service delivery, including acknowledging every guest, answering the store phone in a timely manner, and maintaining exceptional standards for cleanliness and product quality.
  • Handle guest payments with accuracy and discretion, protecting credit card information at all times.
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels in front cases, staging area, 2D & cold case, ensuring quality of products stocked, and creating sample trays for guests.
  • Assist with supply inventory by folding and stamping boxes.
  • Complete cleaning tasks on a continuous basis, including washing of dishes, wiping of tables, chairs, front doors, cases, windows, restroom, and service area.
  • Bake cookies as inventory levels necessitate, ensuring consistent quality of products through proper oven temperature and that cookies are baked from frozen.
  • Document all products baked thoroughly and accurately.
  • Complete dish washing tasks from the day.

Requirements
  • Ability to develop and maintain productive and positive relationships with vendors, customers, and other employees.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal/external customers.
  • Strong organizational skills for the performance of a variety of complex administrative duties, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, with a logical and methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in standard software applications, including and with standard office equipment.

Work Environment
This job operates in a climate-controlled retail environment with occasional exposure to a 0-degree walk-in. Appropriate cold-weather gear is provided at each location.

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Requires:
  • Regularly required to talk and hear.
  • Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing.
  • Frequently lifts and/or moves items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work.
