About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our team at Baptist Memorial Health Care. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgical teams during operations and procedures by preparing and maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons as needed.
  • Help prepare the surgical suite and move patients as required.
  • Participate in ongoing educational activities to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • National Certification as a Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA) or equivalent.
  • Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited program in surgical technology or equivalent.
  • Computer literacy and ability to learn new software and systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
