Position Overview

The Senior People Operations Specialist is tasked with delivering exceptional service to team members within the Fontana Customer Service Center. This role encompasses a comprehensive array of People and Culture (P&C) functions, supporting strategic initiatives and overseeing the administration of policies, procedures, and programs. The specialist will enhance team member communication and recognition, fostering a positive workplace atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update employee information within P&C information systems (such as Success Factors, ADP, and Benefit Focus) utilizing advanced data management skills.
  • Devise innovative strategies to boost team member engagement during quarterly appreciation events.
  • Execute routine and analytical tasks related to P&C programs, including but not limited to compensation adjustments, benefits administration, and performance management.
  • Support strategic P&C initiatives across the Customer Service Center network.
  • Facilitate the administration of employee surveys and initiatives aimed at enhancing workplace culture.
  • Collaborate with the Teams Champion team to promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives.
  • Manage unemployment initiatives through appropriate case management tools.
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Provide guidance to team members on various P&C-related inquiries and resolve any arising issues.
  • Analyze and report on monthly team member data for leadership review.
  • Encourage participation in open enrollment and engagement surveys.
  • Enhance the overall team member experience, ensuring it is meaningful and fulfilling.
  • Act as a key resource for P&C projects and support site leadership.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources, demonstrating success in managing P&C processes including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of California employment law is essential for compliance.
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on service and relationship-building.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, including experience in team leadership and public speaking.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet individual and team objectives.
