Job Overview

Tatte Holdings LLC is seeking a highly skilled Bakery Supervisor to lead our production team in creating high-quality bread, pastry, and viennoiserie products. As a key member of our bakery management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the bakery management team to develop and implement production plans, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting customer demands.
  • Supervise and train a team of bakers, pastry chefs, and retail staff to maintain high-quality products and exceptional customer service.
  • Monitor and control labor expenses, waste, and inventory levels to optimize profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with team members, bakery managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide regular feedback and coaching to team members to improve performance and achieve goals.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience in a high-volume bakery or pastry production environment.
  • Ability to operate large baking equipment, including spiral mixers, proofers, and sheeters.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction.
  • Passion for baking and a commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to read and speak basic English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior supervisory experience in a bakery or pastry production environment.
  • AIB or Culinary School certification in Baking.
  • Serv Safe Certified.
  • Experience managing high-performance teams.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.
