Telecommunications Support Analyst

Position Summary:
This role involves providing Tier 1 support for telecommunication systems, ensuring effective implementation and ongoing maintenance. The individual will collaborate with the team to troubleshoot issues and assist in the training and development of junior staff members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and provide expert guidance on telecommunications systems.
- Gather user feedback to identify needs and leverage existing technology to fulfill those requirements.
- Document processes, requests, and activities, providing regular reports.
- Design and program system features, as well as allocate necessary resources.
- Conduct system monitoring and testing, resolving any technical issues.
- Assess system performance and implement enhancements as necessary.
- Coordinate telecommunications operations effectively.
- Manage procurement of electronic equipment and prepare budget justifications.
- Work with management to foster staff development and skill enhancement.
- Adhere to industry standards and best practices.
Additional Duties:
Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Supervisory Role:
This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as a telecommunications specialist.
- Proficient in MS Office and database management.
- Hands-on experience with various telecommunications systems and associated equipment.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- A collaborative team player with a focus on customer service.
Language Proficiency:
Ability to read and interpret various documents, including policy manuals and operational instructions. Capable of writing routine reports and effectively communicating with groups.
Mathematical Competence:
Ability to perform calculations involving discounts, interest, and percentages.
Reasoning Skills:
Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions and solve problems involving multiple variables.
Customer Interaction:
Requires strong communication skills to address customer inquiries and ensure their needs are met.
Work Complexity:
Tasks are varied and interconnected, requiring the application of diverse procedures and policies.
Certifications:
No specific certifications are required for this position.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands of this role include frequent sitting and talking, occasional standing and walking, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment:
