Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional service by managing the receipt, processing, and distribution of merchandise.
  • Oversee daily operations of warehouse staff and drivers.
  • Support management in shift coverage and operational oversight.
  • Assist in scheduling to ensure adequate staffing.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of deliveries, adhering to established schedules.
  • Utilize computer systems for precise inventory management within warehouse operations.
  • Facilitate the transportation of orders and returns between the warehouse and retail locations.
  • Identify and manage damaged or expired products.
  • Implement product rotation based on expiration dates in the warehouse and stores.
  • Assist with maintenance tasks and responsibilities within the warehouse.
  • Maintain organized bin locations and conduct physical inventory checks.
  • Ensure accurate ticketing in accordance with branch standards.
  • Review incoming orders and communicate any discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Accurately input data from ordering and receiving documents into the Retail Management System (RMS).
  • Update RMS information as necessary and generate relevant reports.
  • Stock, date, rotate, and monitor product temperatures.
  • Foster effective communication and collaborative relationships between team members and management.
  • Operate company vehicles as required.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred: 1 year of experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse environment.
  • Experience in inventory management is essential.
  • Familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
  • Forklift and pallet jack operation experience is mandatory.
  • Flexible availability for morning, evening, and weekend shifts.
  • Proficient in receiving, storing, and delivering inventory.
  • Knowledge of contemporary warehousing practices and methodologies.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Physical capability to bend, twist, and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to safely operate a truck.
  • Capable of lifting and/or moving up to 50 lbs.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the capacity to delegate and mentor others.
