Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise warehouse staff and daily activities, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and assuring quality of goods.
  • Manage, evaluate, and report on warehouse productivity/activities and employee performance.
  • Track and coordinate the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.
  • Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices to boost productivity.
  • Check orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
  • Maintain records, report relevant information, and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Ensure basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Perform daily inspections of the warehouse grounds.
  • Communicate and coordinate with other departments and customers.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Degree in business, management, logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or similar management position.
  • Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management.
  • Time management skills and ability to delegate.
  • Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and team player mentality.
  • Proficiency in 3PL/Google Suites/Microsoft Office and data entry software.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift, move, and carry up to 75lbs.
