Customer Support Specialist

The Customer Support Specialist plays a vital role in assisting both residential and business clients with their inquiries and technical challenges. This position is essential for ensuring that our customers have a seamless experience with i3 Broadband services.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to customer queries efficiently through various communication platforms.
- Keep accurate and updated records of customer interactions.
- Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to deliver exceptional service.
- Provide assistance via email and phone, ensuring customer satisfaction through follow-ups.
- Utilize our ticketing system to document all customer interactions, including requests for support and resolutions.
- Guide customers in troubleshooting i3 Broadband equipment and provide basic home networking support.
- Refer complex issues to Tier 2 support when necessary, ensuring clear communication of critical information.
- Participate in the on-call rotation, ready to resolve technical issues as they arise.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills and a genuine interest in technology.
- Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presented in a friendly and professional manner.
- Proficiency in using computers and a solid understanding of consumer electronics.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong documentation skills with the ability to create clear and comprehensive instructions.
- Detail-oriented and a team player.
- Availability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Willingness to learn and adapt based on feedback.
- No prior experience required; however, experience in customer service or IT support is advantageous.
- High School diploma or GED is necessary.
- Must possess a clean driving record and pass a background check.
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Capability to operate standard office equipment.
