The Baerlocher USA LLC is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Coordinator to join our team.

About the Role

This is a salary position that involves developing, coordinating, and implementing maintenance plans to ensure the reliability and efficiency of plant operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance planning, preferably in a chemical or industrial manufacturing environment, and excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance Planning
    • Develop detailed maintenance plans and schedules for all equipment and systems within the facility.
    • Coordinate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to prioritize and plan maintenance activities.
    • Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Work Order Management
    • Generate and manage work orders, ensuring accurate documentation and tracking of maintenance activities.
    • Review and prioritize incoming work requests, allocating resources as needed.
    • Ensure timely completion of work orders and proper recording of completed tasks.
  • Resource Management
    • Identify and allocate necessary resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, for maintenance activities.
    • Coordinate with procurement to ensure the availability of necessary spare parts and materials.
    • Maintain an inventory of critical spare parts and manage stock levels to prevent downtime.
  • Preventive and Predictive Maintenance
    • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
    • Monitor equipment performance and condition, using data and analytics to identify potential issues and plan maintenance activities.
    • Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes, reduce downtime, and improve overall plant efficiency.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement best practices in maintenance and reliability.
    • Provide training and support to maintenance personnel to ensure adherence to maintenance procedures and standards.
  • Reporting and Documentation
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance schedules, and equipment history.
    • Prepare and present reports on maintenance performance, highlighting key metrics and improvement opportunities.
    • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards related to maintenance documentation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintenance planning, preferably in a chemical or industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, equipment, and systems used in chemical plants.
  • Proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and other relevant software.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
