Job Summary

US Tsubaki Automotive, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Waste Water Technician - Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our waste water systems, performing routine maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting mechanical and chemical issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Waste Water System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including calibration and adjustment of diaphragm pumps and other mechanical components, switching sample bottles and programmed samplers, and performing mechanical and chemical troubleshooting of waste water systems.
  • Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate and maintain all waste water and associated equipment, including pumps, valves, and filter presses.
  • Chemical Management: Maintain a chemical inventory, checking and changing chemicals as needed.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Utilize the EAM system to document maintenance service requests, perform regular scheduled preventative maintenance activities, and maintain a detailed logbook of routine and abnormal conditions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with municipal and contracted technicians or inspectors on audits and sample collections, coordinate hazardous waste pickup and disposal, and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 0-3 years of experience in an industrial maintenance role.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Must be able to obtain a Waste Water License Grade 2 within 90 days.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of waste water theory and operations, wastewater equipment, and hazardous chemicals; proficiency with common mechanic's hand tools and power tools; ability to learn and progress through mechanic levels.
  • Software and Systems: Microsoft Office experience, with emphasis on Outlook; ability to use the EAM system and CMM system to document maintenance service requests.
