Job Summary: As a Child Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Kaiser, you will be responsible for assessing the physical and emotional health of patients, developing and implementing personalized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional health, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide ongoing support and treatment to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication with patients and their families.
  • Medication Management: Prescribe and manage medications as needed, ensuring safe and effective treatment of patients.
  • Education and Support: Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care and well-being.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure continuous improvement in patient care and outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate degree in nursing and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License (Washington).
  • Experience: Minimum two years of experience as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support certification and national certification appropriate to the role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills.
