POSITION SUMMARY

We are currently seeking a full-time Clinical Program Supervisor for our Children and Family Treatment and Support Services (CFTSS) program. This program utilizes a collaborative approach to deliver personalized and adaptable services, engaging with youth in their homes and various community environments. CFTSS caters to individuals aged 5-21, emphasizing prevention and early intervention through a comprehensive suite of services. The Supervisor will collaborate with the Program Director and Program Coordinator to oversee staff and facilitate the daily clinical functions of the CFTSS program. Additionally, the Supervisor will manage a caseload and deliver direct clinical services. Travel is a requirement for this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide weekly supervision to full-time Other Licensed Practitioners (OLP) and Community Psychiatric Support Treatment (CPST) staff, along with clinical supervision to Psychosocial Rehabilitation Support (PSR) staff as needed.
  • Assist in the formulation and upkeep of treatment plans for program participants.
  • Address concerns raised by staff and participants.
  • Maintain a caseload of approximately 10 clients, delivering direct clinical services.
  • Conduct crisis interventions and participate in on-call duties.
  • Document in compliance with OMH and CFTSS standards within an electronic medical record system.
  • Oversee staff documentation to ensure adherence to OMH and CFTSS standards and perform Utilization Reviews to confirm chart compliance and medical necessity.
  • Conduct phone screenings to assess the clinical suitability of referrals and allocate cases accordingly.
  • Secure necessary insurance authorizations.
  • Complete Incident Reports as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

A Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling with an independent practice license is required.

LCSW or LMHC credentials are preferred; LMSW with relevant experience will be considered.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a behavioral health setting working with children and families is essential, with prior clinical experience preferred.

At least 6 months of supervisory experience is required.

Familiarity with DSM 5 diagnostic criteria and experience with therapeutic interventions for children, adolescents, and families is necessary.

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records, are essential.

Strong leadership, judgment, problem-solving, and communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.

The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team is necessary.

A valid and clean NYS Driver's License is required.

Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This role necessitates prolonged periods of sitting, as well as travel to client homes and community locations to provide clinical services.
