Land Survey Field Technician

A. Morton Thomas, Inc. (AMT) is seeking a Survey Field Technician to join our team based out of our office in Rockville, MD. - Assist in setting survey control points, including construction stakeouts.
- Clear brush from survey sight lines.
- Utilize hand tools, such as an axe, bush axe, machete, and sledgehammer.
- Maintain the survey truck's inventory and ensure it is stocked.
- Under the direction of the fleet manager, bring the survey truck in for required fuel and maintenance.
- Take direction from the Survey Instrument Operator and Party Chief.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma.
- 0-1 years of experience.
- Entry-level position.
- Basic knowledge of field surveying procedures is desired but not mandatory.
- Interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members.
- Positive attitude and professional bearing.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new tasks and develop personally and professionally.
- Must be service-oriented and excited to work in a team environment.
Compensation: $20 - $22 an hour.
