Job Overview:

CV Library is in search of a FACILITIES MAINTENANCE ENGINEER | LEVEL 2 to join our dynamic team. This position is crucial for upholding the operational efficiency of our facilities, guaranteeing a seamless and luxurious experience for both our guests and staff.


Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain all mechanical systems in guest areas and public spaces.
- Receive assignments for service calls via communication devices.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians on repairs.
- Complete all assigned work orders and daily responsibilities.

- Familiarize yourself with systems such as the telephone switch, guest and employee internet networks, guest room access systems, building automation systems, and particularly the work order management system.

- Document daily work requests accurately.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on laundry and kitchen equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, filter changes, and belt adjustments.
- Keep daily logs of operations, maintenance, pool, spa, and safety activities. Order necessary tools and maintain inventory.
- Understand and adhere to fire alarm procedures and emergency protocols.
- Comprehend the rules and regulations of the organization.
- Execute preventive maintenance tasks on all guest rooms as assigned.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure back-of-house areas and equipment are safe and in good working condition.

- Follow directions from engineering management regarding daily tasks or projects and complete them within the specified timeframe.

- Interact with guests in a courteous and professional manner, addressing maintenance-related concerns and requests promptly.
- Embrace all training and learning opportunities.

- Recognize the significance of Lockout/Tagout procedures, the hazards of arc flashes, and other necessary precautions around equipment.

- Identify trends that may indicate emerging issues.
- Maintain engineering workspaces.

Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in painting, basic plumbing, basic electrical work, minor carpentry, lighting, and computer skills.
- Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and performance.
- Previous experience in building maintenance and/or relevant technical training.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and trade tools is essential.
- Working knowledge of general maintenance and repairs in at least one building trade is required.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations is necessary.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Capability to crawl for short distances.
- Ability to bend, reach overhead, squat, and kneel for prolonged periods.
- Capacity to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including AM, PM, overnight, weekends, and holidays, as needed by the business.
